At the time of writing, this is still in PreLaunch and is taking on new business builders before this is unleashed upon the masses…The software is ready and available to use straight away.
What is it?
GVOConference is the latest offering from GVO that is going to put the power of Online Meetings into the hands of everyone that wants it.
It’s a Flash based conference room so it runs in any web browser removing the need for people attending a meeting to download any software.
It’s now a simple matter of pointing your visitor to a link and they simple click it and login.
The other advantage of a Flash Based system is it is not bound by the operating system you use. A lot of the Conferencing Software available is Windows based.
So with GVOConference every Windows, MAC and Linux user can use this software.
The Price
This is where GVO is out to saturate the market with this. Just like Godaddy has done with Domain name registrations, selling them for unheard of low prices when everyone else was selling them for a lot more than the now standard $9 mark.
A Standard 50 Seat room, with Desktop Sharing available for 25 People is a low $8.97 USD per month.
Which makes this very affordable.
Is it lacking in the features that the Windows based ones have?
Actually, no!
There is one slight exception though. Programs like GotoMeeting have the ability to let a number of people have access to the microphone at the same time. It’s rare that you’d ever have more than 4 people able to just chime in when they wanted to. In conferences I’ve held for taking my classes, allowing up to 4 people is the maximum number that works well. Anymore than that and it just gets noisy and distracting.
GVOConference does allow upto 4 people to talk at the same time. Who gets that privilege to be one of the 4 is controlled by the person(s) moderating the room.
Most times it’s a Speak “One at a time” affair which works well, especially in a presentation or watch me do this and then ask for questions.
What makes this Special?
Well for the “visitor” it’s a very clean and easy to figure out interface. So logging in is very easy, which in some systems of the past was a nightmare.
The base package, allows desktop sharing ( one of my major criteria for using a conference room ) of up to 25 people at any one time. Which isn’t a bad number.
A room seats 50 people, again a nice number and much higher than some that start of at 10 seats ( persons ) and cost 4 to 5 times as much as GVO.
There is Polling, There is a very smart and clever Whiteboard that has “pages” that you can click through and it remembers them. So no need to erase and start again if you need to go back to a drawing. Moderators can record the conference, as either Audio or Audio AND Video. You can upload power point presentations and show them to all 50 people, you can even show a video to everyone.
So it’s got the “things” that will cater for a wide range of peoples needs and it’s got the price going for it.
The Affiliate Opportunity
At this date I’m not sure what percentages etc are being offered. With the low entry fee, it will mean you’d need a few in your downline for this to make you any serious money. But it’s a product you have a large audience for, then it’s not to hard to work out it’s a very good opportunity.
Remember also that there are upgrades available to extend the number of seats and the numbers you can Desktop share with and there are also a few other small upgrades. The Room Branding is going to be popular. Again it’s a really low price and set to sell. It all adds up.
The Admin area
Well you get the whole deal in this… You get 8 Marketing tools built in, which includes your Prospecting system and it tracks everything for you. Plus there are a range of excellent Splash/Squeeze pages. Actually I saw one when I was relaxing and Surfing a TE one night and thought “WOW!” and seeing that page is what actually made me go back and take another look at this.
Two kinds of Admin Areas
Look, as an affiliate marketer it’s got the complete system setup for you. One thing I must point out… A lot of these types of promotions/systems that have a product with a wide audience appeal tend to scare most people off when they see the word “AFFILIATE….” and think “it’s a Scam” and run for the hills…
Well It’s been setup so that if someone joins to use the system, as a lot of people will, they are not going to be seeing the scary word “Affiliate” anywhere…They’ll just be happy users. So there are basically two kinds of Back Office or Admin setups. “The I’m just a happy user” setup and the “I’m a Hardcore Affiliate so give me all those turbo charged tools and let me rip into this” setup.

Conclusion
GVOConference is one of those products that should have very wide appeal to a very broad spectrum of Internet Users.
For the every day user – The Moderator – the In Room Moderator Tools and Back Office Room Setup are easy and simple to use. There are videos and explanations galore plus live training using a “guess what” room!
For the every day user – The Room Visitor – Access is simple, and the experience will be mind blowing for them.
